One of the classic, essential turning tools. A great all-around spindle tool that cuts coves and hollows as well as beads and rounds. The “Long & Strong” lives up to its name, delivering the heft you want for maximum control, especially on your bigger work. Comes with a 35 degree grinding angle and a round cutting edge that can be ground to a fingernail profile.

Except where noted all tools are made of high speed steel (HSS) and are sold handled. Tony Iles hand finishes each and every turning tool himself and is proud that every tool is shipped with its surfaces ground and edges broken. These are tools that will feel wonderful in the hand, with a heft makes them feel very solid – a real aid in turning.
