Hemp Oil By Real Milk Paint

Made from pressed hemp seeds, Real Milk Paint Hemp Oil is ready to use right out of the bottle – no need for a solvent or thinner – to penetrate and nourish wood. Use it on cutting boards, wooden bowls, butcher blocks, utensils and other items that contact food, and to revive old wood finishes that need nourishment. It’s also a nice topper for milk and chalk paints.

Hemp Oil can range in color from golden yellow to a very pale green, depending upon the particular seeds. It dries to a warm matte, never-glossy finish. Hemp Oil does not offer as durable a finish as tung oil, so choose tung for high-traffic flooring and other uses for which its durability is needed.

Note: Takes 7 to 10 days for a partial cure, 15 to 30 for a full cure. Hemp Oil is
not intended for leather goods.

Hemp Oil is flammable. Keep containers tightly closed away from extreme temperature changes and open flames. As with all oils, rags, steel wool or waste soaked with oil, may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after use, place the oil soaked material in a sealed water-filled metal container or hang outside separately to dry.
